Barinholtz & Horwitz, Ltd., Certified Public Accountants
About Barinholtz & Horwitz, Ltd.

When Gene Barinholtz and Jeff Horwitz were college roommates at Northern Illinois University, both already had plans to eventually begin their own accounting firms. Even then their ideas were similar. They wanted to build practices in which every employee focuses on generating solid and sustainable relationships with clients. Moreover, they believed each valued client should receive superior service without the burden of excessive fees.

In 1987, Barinholtz persuaded Horwitz that they should join forces and start their own firm. Together they founded Barinholtz & Horwitz, Ltd., a progressive accounting firm dedicated to surpassing the needs and expectations of a diverse clientele.

Today, Barinholtz & Horwitz, Ltd., is a respected firm providing a full range of accounting services. The company’s policy of providing personalized, timely attention has allowed them to build their business almost exclusively upon referrals. Barinholtz & Horwitz, Ltd.’s exceptional client retention rate speaks for itself – they have developed the trustworthy, reliable and friendly firm they each intended.
